DESCRIPTION
The Pampa de Achala Provincial Reserve occupies 146,000 hectares, in which the two highest hills in the province are found: to the south, the Champaquí, 2,790 meters; to the north, the Los Gigantes massif, 2,374 meters high.
This Park was created with the aim of protecting the headwaters of the Achala watersheds and the habitat of the Andean condor.
