Abundant Water Curses and Lagoons
DESCRIPTION
This 29-hectare municipal reserve protects part of the Laguna Difunto Manuel, an important variety of flora, Pampas grassland, reed beds, fauna, including capybaras, coypu, lagoon turtles, and more than 90 species of birds, including swans of black neck, coots, macaes and herons.
The abundance of aquatic birds is usually notorious, with many kinds of ducks, teals, pochards, and species such as Coscoroba Swan, Black-necked Swan, and Southern Screamer. Also, we have chances to see the summer migratory waders but some tarry winter visitors from Patagonia, such as the Tawny-throated Dotterel, Chocolate-vented Monjita, and Austral Negrito.
